Reboot Program
Riverview State School's Alternate Learning Program is an innovative and transformative approach that is redefining the way we provide education.
For students who require the most intensive and individualised support, learning in a traditional classroom setting may not cater to their diverse learning needs and styles. Our alternate program offers a flexible, personalised learning approach to schooling where education is not confined within the four walls of a classroom.

Cultural Programs
Mob

The Mob meet in the cultural room and all Indigenous families are welcome to attend.
This time is used by the group to connect with culture, share and learn together.
Students engage in games, stories and history. They have opportunities to try food prepared by parents.
Good Start Pacifica Group
Good start is an initiative that aims to

improve the health and wellbeing of Pacifica and Maori children and families.
It builds the skills, knowledge and confidence in students to make healthy eating and lifestyle choices.
Students also participate in games and learn about culture. The program runs once a week in the cultural room.
Sporting Programs
Riverview Sporting Excellence Program (RISE)
The RISE Program aims to introduce and develop core concepts in selected sports that students might not have had the opportunity to experience.
These specific concepts include individual skills, game play and tactics, physical development, sports physiology/psychology and coaching.
Our program aims to enhance the core technical skills, tactical awareness, physiological development and psychological aspects of the developing athlete.
The program provides an opportunity to bring together the keenest athletes to work and learn together, and pursue excellence in a supportive environment. Students also get to work with like-minded students from other year levels, thus widening their friendship circle and strengthening bonds across year-level cohorts.
We also promote sport for fun and fitness, and aim to foster a lifelong love of sport.
