We aim to provide a well-resourced and inviting environment which fosters a love of reading. The library houses a collection that includes fiction, junior fiction, non-fiction and a reference section. For teachers there is a large collection of teacher reference, reading schemes, and resources to support the Australian curriculum.

Library borrowing

  • all students are required to bring a library bag to borrow
  • books should be kept in a clean, dry location
  • students have library lessons with our qualified teacher librarian

Overdue library books

  • students with lost books will be asked to pay to replace each book that is missing
  • students with overdue library books are not allowed to borrow until the book has been returned or paid for

Damaged books

  • should a book get damaged, return it to the school as soon as possible as we may be able to fix it
  • books that cannot be fixed need to be paid for

Library events

  • Children’s Book Council of Australia’s (CBCA) book week
  • Book fairs
  • Premier’s reading challenge
